Come along to the next Repair Café in Bayswater at the school hall from 11am to 2pm on Saturday the 25th of March. Hopefully we’ll all have dried out a little by then. It’s great to have Glenys, Dale, et al involved again. It’s a free pop up event where you can bring broken and damaged items. Bicycles – Clothes – Small pieces of Furniture – Small Appliances – Toys. Local volunteer experts will sit down with you, share their knowledge and do their best to repair things. Last time 29 of the 50 items that were brought along were fixed! It’s all about bringing people together, connecting local people in their communities with others who are happy to share their skills and knowledge, saving people money and reducing the amount of material that ends up in our landfills.
